Adani, who along with being the world’s largest private producer of coal is a major producer of arms and military equipment to Israel, in partnership with Elbit systems.

BP sponsors the STEM programme for students’ and teachers’ education.

BP is also expanding its fossil fuel extraction while reducing its investment in renewable energy. As educators, we say it is wrong to legitimise a company that is contributing so much to a frighteningly unstable future for their students.

Arms companies and environmental polluters have no role in the education of our children.

We agree to pause booking any trips or activities through the STEM programme until the sponsorships are stopped.

We will endeavour to find alternative visits to support Science topics at [name of school]."
